What's up, everybody? This is another episode of Power Hour as always every Thursday, wherever you are listening to podcasts. My name is Pastor Kyle, and I'm actually running solo today because we will be doing something a little more unusual. After Pastor Ty and I got together and talked, we thought it might be cool to mix it up a little bit. So let us know what you think. We'll we'll be back to our normal uh crazy conversations here next week. But this week, uh, you know, with watching some of the news, you know, as much as I want to try to avoid all the uh extra stuff and the rage baiting and you know how media likes to declare that it's the end of the world every five seconds. Um, I I have found myself tuning into a few things, watching the riots that are happening in the UK right now, uh, watching everything obviously that's still happening with the the US, Iran, Israel war, um, talking about the economy and it's hard to ignore the gas prices nowadays. And uh, you know, with everything that's going on and all the the political uh turmoil that that tends to be just a regular part of society nowadays, uh Pastor Ty and I just thought that now would be a good time to just take the next maybe 10 minutes and just pray. Uh so if you will uh just urge you not to turn off the podcast, even though it is a little different. And I'm just going to pray. And as Philippians 4, 6 through 7 says, it says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And then the best part is it says in verse 7, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding. I love that because we all need more peace in our life, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. So basically, what I want to do is for the next 10 minutes, I am just going to pray. And my hope is that you, wherever you're at, you will agree with me in this prayer. Uh, and you will petition God uh equally in these things. We're gonna be praying over multiple things, whether it be stuff happening in the world, uh, whether it be our global workers right now, uh taking Christ to try to reach the uh unreached areas of our world. And then we're gonna be praying locally as well for Christ to continue to do amazing things in our local area. So if you will just join me in prayer for just the next few minutes and uh let's just agree together as a body of believers coming together as Christ so we can see that peace that Philippians 4 is talking about transcend and guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Heavenly Father, today we come before you with grateful hearts. We thank you for who you are. Lord, you are holy, you are righteous, powerful, faithful, and good. Lord, you are the King of kings and the Lord of lords. There is no one like you. Before we ask for anything, Lord, we we simply want to stop and we want to worship you today. Your word says in Psalm 145, 3, Great is the Lord, he is most worthy of praise. No one can measure his greatness. Father, today we just praise you because you are still on the throne. You have not lost any kind of control, you are not surprised by what is happening in our world, our nation, our communities, or our lives. You are sovereign over it all. And Lord, we today just lift up our nation before you. Lord, we know your word tells us in 1 Timothy 2, 1 and 2. Lord, to pray for all people and for those in authority. So today we pray for our leaders, we pray for our presidents, our elected officials, our governors, mayors, judges, law enforcement officers, and every person who carries responsibility and influence. Father, give them wisdom, give them discernment, give them courage to do what is right, protect them from corruption, from pride, and from deception. Lord, we pray that our nation may turn back to you in a culture filled with confusion, help us rediscover truth in a world filled with division, help us find unity through Christ in a generation searching for answers, Lord, help us point people to Jesus. Lord, we know my mind goes to 2 Chronicles 7, 14 that says, If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. Lord, let revival begin in your church. Let repentance begin with us, Lord. Let awakening sweep across our nation. Father, today we also pray for our global workers, missionaries, church planners, and ministry leaders serving around the world. Lord, thank you for every man and woman who has answered your call to go. Some are serving in difficult areas, some are serving where their gospel is resisted, is closed off. I know I was just in a couple of those spots, Lord. Some people are serving in dangerous environments. Some are tired, some are discouraged. Some are probably even wondering if their work is making any kind of a difference. Lord, I just pray right now that you strengthen them, encourage them today, remind them that they are not forgotten. Lord, protect them, protect their families, their marriages, their children, their financial needs. Lord, we pray that you open doors that no man can shut. Give them divine appointments with people who are hungry for the gospel. Lord, may signs, wonders, salvations, baptisms, discipleship, and church planning increase through their ministries. Jesus, you said it in Matthew 9, 37 and 38 that the harvest is great, but the workers are few. Lord, raise up more workers, raise up more missionaries, raise up more pastors and church planners and evangelists, Lord. Lord, I just pray for people listening right now. Raise them up who will say yes to your call. Father, today we pray for those battling sickness and disease. Lord, your word says in Psalm 103 that you forgive all our sins and heal all our diseases. Lord, we lift up every person listening right now who is hurting physically. For those battling cancer, we pray healing over them. For those battling chronic pain, bring relief, Lord. For those facing anxiety, depression, and mental exhaustion, please, Lord, bring peace. For those recovering from surgeries and procedures, strengthen their bodies. Lord, for those waiting on test results, give them confidence in you, and for those caring for sick loved ones, Lord, give them endurance and hope. Jesus, we remember that you are still our healer. As Isaiah 53, 5 says, by his wounds we are healed. Lord, today we ask for miracles. We ask for breakthroughs. We ask for testimonies that can only be explained by your power. And Lord, even when healing doesn't come in the timing we expect, help us trust your goodness. Help us remember that you are faithful in every season. Father, we pray today for those who are weary, for those carrying burdens, who are struggling financially, grieving loss, facing uncertainty, who feel forgotten. Lord, we know that your word says in Matthew 11, 28, Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Lord, be their rest today. Be their strength today, be their peace today. Remind them they are not walking through this season alone. And Father, we we now pray specifically for revival in our communities and throughout our region. Lord, do what only you can do. Save people, restore families, break addiction, heal marriages, bring prodigals home, set captives free, Lord. Lord, may the churches be filled with people who are hungry for you. Lord, let our worship become passionate and our prayer become powerful. Let the word of God be preached bold. Lord, we pray against apathy, we pray against complacency, we pray against spiritual dryness. Instead, Lord, pour out your spirit. Lord, as Acts 2 describes, let there be a fresh outpouring of your of your presence, Lord. Lord, will you awaken hearts, convict sinners, encourage believers, and empower the church? Lord, we pray that revival would not simply be a service or an event. Lord, let revival become a lifestyle. Lord, let it begin today in our homes, in our churches, in our schools, in our workplaces, in our communities, Lord. Lord, we pray for those who do not know Jesus yet. We all have family members, friends, and neighbors, coworkers and classmates who we know are far from Jesus. Some of them are searching, some are not. But we know that all are hurting. We know that some have been disappointed. We know some have heard pieces of the gospel. Maybe it's a watered-down gospel. Never maybe they've never even heard the true gospel before. Lord, I just pray that you open their eyes, soften their hearts. Lord, remove every obstacle standing between them and you. Help us see people the way that you see them. Lord, as your word says in Luke 19, for the Son of Man we know came to seek and save those who were lost. Lord, keep us from being a club. May we be a church that is drawing after you and drawing people to you, Lord. Lord, only you change lives. We pray that through our small actions may thousands come to know you, may generations be transformed, and may eternity be impacted, Lord. Because your people chose to pray. Lord, that we chose to serve, that we chose to give generously and share the gospel. Father, we surrender ourselves to you again. Lord, we just pray that you will use us, lead us and guide us, and fill us with your Holy Spirit. Help us walk in obedience, live on mission, and love people well. Lord, help us reflect you wherever we go. And now, Lord, as we close, we declare Ephesians 3:20 through 21. Lord, which says, Now all glory to God, who is able through his mighty work, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever. Lord, we stand in faith, believing that you are able to do far more than we could ever ask, think, or imagine. Lord, you are greater than every obstacle, greater than every diagnosis, greater than every stronghold, greater than every challenge facing our nation, our churches, our families and our communities. So today, Lord, we place our trust in you. Lord, may your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let revival fall, let the lost be saved, Lord, let the sick be healed, the broken be restored, and Lord, let your churches be strengthened. Let your global workers be empowered, Lord. Let families be transformed, and let a generation encounter the living Christ. And Lord, may you begin in us. Lord, make us a people that pray. Make us a people of faith, of compassion. May make us a people who are filled with your spirit and committed to your mission, Lord. May our lives bring glory to your name. May our words point people to Jesus. And may our churches become lighthouses, beacons on a hill, Lord, in dark places. And Lord, may we never lose sight of what matters most. That men, women, students, children would come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Lord, we thank you for this time of prayer, for hearing us. We thank you for working even when we cannot see it. We thank you for your faithfulness, your mercy, and your grace. Lord, we love you, we trust you, and we worship you today. And we ask all these things in the powerful, mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen. Just want to thank each person taking in time for Little Unorthodox podcast today. But we just thought it was so important to take just a little time out of our week, just a few minutes, and just refocus and remind ourselves losing control of all day. We love you guys, and we will see you next time in our podcast.
